Well, we broke down and bought a little swimming pool last week. (Gotta love Big Lots and their great deals!) Hope was very anxious to get it up, so Saturday we took on the challenge. Hope is very excited to swim and thinks she will this afternoon even though it's extremely cold well water filling it!
Well, as you can see, Hope got her wish! Thanks to 90 degree weather, the pool sitting on concrete, and being right in the sun, the pool warmed up a little...well enough to get in it. Let's just say I found it quite refreshing after I got used to it! :-) Our little pool is only 10 feet wide and about 2 feet deep, but it will be great for the kids to play in and for Mommy and Daddy to cool off a little.
